In this conventional paper I discuss what stage Horace Miner was aiming to make is definitely his daily news titled " Body Routine among the Nacirema". Horace's conventional paper is about America but in the angle that America is a tribe of third world country or such. I actually go through the person topics, which in turn mostly poker fun at American's vanity, and I illustrate what he's really referring to. I try to summaries Horace's paper and set it in " American” terms.

Nacirema: The American Tribe

Here in America we all view yourself as one of the most, if not really the most, advanced societies on the globe. Most of us think that we are only the best, when you really look at a lot of the facets of our culture in the sight that Horace Miner gives in his paper " Body Ritual among the list of Nacirema” you may begin to believe otherwise. In Horace's newspaper he displays the reader how a United States of America could possibly be viewed from your perspective of a more advance, or more created country. You could think of it as what extraterrestrials might perspective us. I suppose you could possibly say a that an bad country would view all of us in this way also, but by tone it would appear that its intended to be a view of America by someone that views America just how Americans discover other ethnicities such as an African tribe or under developed country or cultures of that sort. The key topics he covers take the vanity of Americans, although he also covers doctors, dentist, counselors, hospitals, and a few others things.

Horace starts out by discussing the Nacirema shrine. The shrine is where the Nacirema worship themselves. This is naturally a bathroom. Since this is poking fun by Americans pride, wherever people focus their time upon cleaning and grooming and pampering themselves would be their particular shrine.
